What the glass look shows

Glass Logo Reveal builds your logo as a solid piece of clear glass with a light tint. Soft light lines drift behind it, and you see them bend as they pass through the logo. Dispersion splits the light into a faint rainbow, the way real glass does at its edges.

It is quieter than chrome or neon, and it suits brands that want to feel light, clean and modern.

Settings for clear glass

  • Clarity is the intensity slider for this look. Turn it up for clear glass; turn it down for a frosted, softer surface.
  • Primary colour sets the tint. Light tints keep the glass see-through; dark ones make it heavier.
  • Bevel: rounded edges give the glass more surfaces to bend light, so a higher bevel usually shows the rainbow better.
  • Background: a dark or mid-tone colour lets the light lines and the refraction stand out.

Resolution and format

The rainbow fringe is a fine detail, so it shows best at higher resolution: 1080p on Personal, or 4K on Pro for large screens and website headers. Use 16:9 for a portfolio reel and 1:1 for a square post. A short tagline, such as a studio name or service line, sits well with the calm pace.

Glass Logo Reveal: questions

Is the glass actually see-through?

Yes. The glass is clear with a tint from Primary colour, and the light lines behind the logo bend as they pass through it. Lower Clarity for a frosted look.

Why is there a rainbow on the edges?

That is dispersion: the glass splits light into colours, as real glass does. It is part of the look and shows most on rounded, bevelled edges.

Can a multi-colour logo stay coloured in glass?

Yes. If your logo has up to 16 flat colours, tick Keep original colours and each part becomes glass in its own colour.
